Vi has been researching her family for over 40 years and has been a teacher/lecturer since 1993. She holds certificates from Brigham Young University (BYU) and the National Genealogical Society (NGS). She is the co-founder of Carr Twins & Co. and author of her family history books. She is a member of the Dragoo Family Association (DFA) and volunteer for over 15 years, serving as President, Librarian and Newsletter Editor. Vi has been a member of RGS since 1995, a past First V.P., Newsletter Editor and Education Director.
