Newsletter Index Objectives
- Benefits of Membership:
Benefits of membership include interesting meetings, a bi-monthly newsletter, free newsletter queries, a message list, library privileges, periodic field trips, and fellowship with other knowledgeable and helpful genealogists.
Meetings are held from 1-3 p.m. in the Senior Meeting Room, at Maidu Community Center, Roseville CA, on the second Tuesday of each month unless there is a holiday conflict. Our programs cover many different topics related to history and genealogical research.

Please sign in at the front desk in the Senior Wing of the Maidu Community Center as well as outside the door of the genealogy meeting room when attending the meetings.
The RGS Board meets immediately after the meetings from 3-4:30. All members are welcome to attend.
Dues are $25.00 per single, $30.00 per couple/family, payable January 1st for the ensuing year. They must be paid by March, to avoid being dropped from the newsletter mailings. Include $6 for postage and handling if you want your newsletter mailed to you. Please send membership checks to the Roseville Genealogical Society at 557 Lincoln Street, Roseville, CA 95678, or see Helen Astill (Membership), at the meetings.

The Roseville Genealogical Society Newsletter is published bi-monthly in January, March, May, July, September, and November and can be viewed online. You may pick up a copy at the meeting after publication. We charge $6 to mail your copies to you. Membership entitles you to receive the RGS newsletter and to submit free queries to the newsletter. We welcome newsletter queries for Placer County, California research. Please email items for inclusion in the newsletter to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put "Queries for the RGS Newsletter" in the subject line of the email.

RGS has moved and our genealogy library is now located at the main Roseville Public Library at 225 Taylor St. in Roseville. We are open for members and the public. We currently have close to 1340 interesting and helpful books, box files with numerous collections of useful genealogical information.
Our library at the main Roseville Public Library is open to our members and the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and the second and fourth Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, docents are there to serve you from 12 - 5 pm. There are docents available at the times mentioned who are able and very willing to help you with your research.

We have 2 computers/printers at the library with access to Heritage Quest with a Roseville Library card. We'd love to have you visit us.
